Welcome to Parteen-Meelick-Coonagh! Most of the parish of Parteen/Meelick is situated in the county of Clare, although the Coonagh part of the parish is in the county of Limerick. Parteen, Meelick and Coonagh were assigned to the Diocese of Limerick at the Synod of Rathbrassill in 1111 AD when the boundaries of the dioceses were drawn up.
