| Holy Wells

There is a Holy Well in Ballycannon North that is situated near the roadside
at the back of a disused dwelling house. The well is no longer visited.
Traditions about the well were handed down through the generations. The
well is now over grown and is near a stream that passes behind the house.
Shrine
There is a shrine to Our Lady at O'Connor's in Athlunkard. It was erected
in the mid-1960's.
