| Mass Rock

Broadford mass rock is located in the townland of Farrihy.
The mass rock is situated on Cnoc na gCairn, Daly's Hill. According
to local tradition, Oliver Plunkett was present at the consecration of
Bishop Dooley of Limerick (1677) at Farrihy. Today the mass rock is no
longer visible, as the hillside has been planted with trees. The site,
however, still affords a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.
Marian Shrine
